The apostles, Paul, and those in the Book of Acts were Spirit-filled. When they were persecuted, scattered, and imprisoned, they rejoiced and used their adversities for spreading the Gospel. When Paul was on trial for his life before Agrippa, he used his crisis as an opportunity to share the Gospel. One of the important attributes of the Spirit-filled life is taking every setback for an advancement - to take on every problem and turn it around for good. Nothing stops the Spirit. Therefore, those led by the Spirit won't be stopped either. The person who lives and moves by the Spirit is always heading towards redemption - turning calamity into blessing, tragedy into healing, and defeat into victory. God works all things together for good by His Spirit. So a truly Spirit-filled life is about living the Spirit's work of all things for redemption. Don't be discouraged, overwhelmed, or panicked. You have the power to turn that problem into an answer, that curse into joy, that sorrow into a blessing, and that defeat into triumph. That's the evidence of a Spirit-filled life - it's the power to turn everything around to redemption.
