The Hebrew word for blessing is baruch. In Judaism, there's a blessing for everything - for the birth of a baby, a wedding, a new home, etc. It doesn't matter what it is, Jewish culture has a blessing for it. The person ultimately in charge of giving the blessings is the rabbi. Jesus, Yeshua, is a rabbi - the greatest Rabbi. Therefore He is the giver and master of all blessings. He's in charge of blessing your life. He came to earth to bless you with salvation, victory, and joy. Just having Him in your life alone is a blessing! If you're not blessed, it's not because the blessing wasn't given; for you have a rabbi in your life, and He's blessing you. He has a blessing for every part of your life, every moment, and every situation. But it's not enough to have a blessing - you have to receive it. The closer you get to your rabbi, the more you'll find your blessing, and the more blessed you will be. For you've got a rabbi - and He's got your blessing.
