Moving On With The Messiah

In Luke 4:43, Messiah says, "I must preach the Kingdom of God to the other cities, for I was sent for this purpose." The multitudes saw the miracles of Messiah and were blessed. When He finished blessing them and went on to other places, the multitudes didn't follow Him - only the disciples did. They left all that they knew to go with Him. For the disciples, the scenery changed, the people changed, but it didn't matter. He was the only thing that stayed the same. The multitudes stayed where they were, but the disciples moved forward. If you're called by Messiah, you're not one of the multitudes, you're a disciple. Step out in God's will even if it takes you away from the familiar, out of your comfort zone and your old life, and you'll find new life. Step out, go with Him, and you'll find adventure and the excitement of the Spirit. For you were never called to be just one of the multitudes, you were called to be His disciple.
