As Gifts In Waiting

It is written in Ephesians 2:10, "For we are His workmanship, created in Messiah Yeshua, Jesus, for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them." We read that scripture without realizing just how amazing it is. It's saying that there are good works just waiting for us - as gifts waiting to be opened. But sometimes they never get opened because we don't know how to open them. Sometimes we never even know they were there to be opened. But gifts that are never opened don't do us any good. How do you open these gifts? When you act out of God's love, when you bless, forgive, help people in need, when you share the Gospel, then the gifts open and everything flows as if all was prepared beforehand for you. This is because you were made to do those very things and those very things were made for you to enter them! So don't let those gifts just wait there unopened. Walk into the good works the Lord has for you today. They're waiting and were prepared beforehand that you might enter them.
