The Amazing Machine That Keeps You Alive

Our lives are filled with machines. Ultimately they all break down. Your car will break down because it's a machine. But think about this: your heart is also a machine and yet, it's been working without breaking down. It's been working from just after your conception until this very moment. It's amazing that at every moment your heart has been functioning without a break. What does that tell you? You're a real piece of work - for real! The Bible says that you are fearfully and wonderfully made. If God puts so much into you to keep your heart beating every moment - from when you were a baby to your adulthood, every moment of your joys and tears it was beating - and the beating never once stopped, how much more should you be treating your life as something precious? God has a purpose for your life. He invested so much in your life that you now need to bless Him back. He gave you the gift of life - now give Him the gift of your full devotion. Press on in His path and don't ever stop because your heart never has.
