In order to live a joyous life in God, you need to learn the secret of turning everything into a gift. You have the power in God to do this. It's not difficult - you simply have to let go. Let go of your ownership to things. When you own things, they stop being gifts - they end up just being things. You take them for granted and what you take for granted, you can't receive as a gift, nor can you give it. Only when you renounce your rights in this world and stop taking things for granted, will everything become a gift to you. Only when your hand lets go of things can it be open to receive. This is also true for your heart. If you want to receive good things, then stop taking them for granted. Give thanks for all that you have. They are gifts from God, and the greatest gift is salvation. So let go and you will have more blessings. Give thanks and all things will be miraculously transformed into gifts of love.
