God's 'Least Likely to Succeed'

Life is filled with people who started out as the least likely to succeed. For example, Thomas Edison, the inventor of the light bulb, came home from school with a note from his teacher suggesting that he be taken out of school for being "too stupid to learn." Sir Isaac Newton, the founder of modern physics, was the next lowest in his class. He failed geometry. Albert Einstein was so slow in learning to talk and was such a poor student that his parents feared for his future. These people ended up becoming the leaders and champions in their field. This is also true in God's kingdom. Peter messed up more than the other disciples, but he finished the race as a giant. God delights in choosing the unlikely person. It doesn't matter what your walk has been, because it's not about you - it's about God! God will be pleased to make you His champion in the very thing you messed up in. So press forward in His grace, because the halls of heaven are filled with slow, unlikely champions.
