The Gift for Their Torturer

Two sisters who grew up in Eastern Europe under Communism were imprisoned for spreading the Gospel. One night, they were awakened and the interrogator asked, "What were you dreaming about?" One sister answered, "I dreamt I got out of prison, picked you flowers, and brought them to you." He responded, "You stupid cow, you'll never get out of prison. Your bringing me flowers is as impossible as me handing out Bibles." They were ultimately released and the first thing the one sister did was bring flowers to her interrogator. He was speechless! The sisters left their land, but later returned when Communism fell and found their former interrogator living in fear. He revealed that he had been given Bibles, so he gave them to the sisters just like in the dream! Messiah says to love your enemies and bless those who are against you. Do the very thing that makes no sense because you've become a child of the Most High. You have the power not to be conformed to the world but to overcome it with the power of Messiah - the power of love.
