Have you heard the Hebrew word Shekinah? Or the Shekinah glory? It speaks of the glory of God that dwelt with His people. That glory was so great that at times the priests couldn't even minister in the Holy Place. The Hebrew word for the Tabernacle where God dwelt is Mishkan. Both words, Shekinah and Mishkan, come from the same Hebrew root word - Shekan. It means to dwell, to stay with, to reside. The glory of God dwelt, resided, stayed in the tabernacle, the place of abiding. The Lord told Moses to build a Tabernacle so He might dwell among them. So your walk in God isn't about having Holy Ghost experiences and thrills, it's about God dwelling with you and you with Him every day. The Hebrews didn't see God primarily in revival meetings - but they knew His glory in the Tabernacle that dwelt with them every day. So if you want the Shekinah glory of God in your life, then prepare Him a Mishkan, a tent of meeting, and He will meet you with His Shekinah, the residing glory of the Living God!rn
