Psalm 1 says, "Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord. He will be like a tree planted by the water, meditating upon His law day and night." So who's the one who is most blessed? The one who trusts in the Lord. And what's that characteristic of their life? They're like a tree rooted by the waters. Do you want to be blessed and live a rooted life in all situations? True peace doesn't come from your circumstances. It comes from being rooted in the Word, in God's love, in the unseen, in drawing life from the invisible, hidden river of God. A stream of God is always moving, so you are to root yourself in the eternal river of God's love. Root your heart, mind, soul, emotions, and your life by the waters of His love and His mercy and by the sure hope of the Gospel. Root your life, plant your life by the streams of His living waters and you'll be the one who's blessed, who trusts in the Lord.rn
