Making Stalin Disappear

A believer who suffered for his Christian faith under Stalin and other dictators had a dream. All the dictators were at a table. Instead of condemning, hating, and blaming them for all the suffering they caused him, he asked them for forgiveness for not thanking them for the blessings they gave him. For through the persecution came God's great blessings of purification, holiness, humility, and unconditional joy. He forgave them one by one, asked their forgiveness, and as he did, he thanked them. One by one, they began disappearing until he had no more enemies. Do you have enemies? When you fight them in the flesh, you have a greater enemy, but when you forgive and love them, you'll no longer see them as an enemy. When you hold on to the wrongs, injustices, and sins done against you, you'll always be burdened down by them. Rather, thank God for the good that came through them and watch them disappear to be replaced by blessings because in God's grace, you have the power to turn curses into blessings and make dictators disappear.rn
