Colossians 3:2 tells you to set your mind on that which is above because that's where your life is hidden. You're called to live a life in the heavenlies, but heaven is not up; it's above. Up is just up as in a direction. But above means, it's over something else. It's a place in relation to something else. Heaven is above. Set your mind and heart on what is above. The secret of living a heavenly life is to learn how to live above this life. A heavenly life is to live above yourself; to set your mind on things above, that's where your life is. That's the whole secret. Learn to live above yourself, above your ego, your fears, your interests, your rights, and above the confines of yourself. Live above the flesh; all those things that try to hold you down. When you're in an argument, live above it, step out of your grievance. Step out of your problem, and it won't be your problem anymore. Learn the secret of freedom, joy, and release when you start to dwell above yourself.rn
