Don't start praying. You might think that such a statement is not Biblical. But it is. In Ephesians 6:18, it is written, "pray at all times," or "pray without ceasing." Thus we are not told to start praying - but to always be praying. If you're praying always, at all times, then it's no longer a matter of starting to pray. For if you're starting to pray that means you weren't praying before you started. Of course, if you're not praying then start praying. That's the point. But, praying isn't primarily about just a certain time of prayer. It's about a certain life of prayer. Yes, there are different intensities of prayer, and times of focused prayer. But the ultimate point is that you should always be praying. Your life should be one big prayer where you're always in contact with God, speaking to Him, hearing from Him, worshipping Him, and being touched by His Spirit. Learn how to not stop praying; to have your life an unending prayer to God. It all starts when you stop starting and stopping and you just pray. Be with God at all times, in every place, always.rn
