New Wine And The Best For Last

John 2 starts with a wedding celebration. Like most celebrations, it started out with joy - but then it started to fade. In this case, wine ran out. Even the waiter said that the best was to be served at the beginning. But then the Lord came to the party and turned water into wine. Wine is a symbol of joy. The joy of the Lord is different from that of the world because, with God, the best comes at the end. In the world, the best, the newest, comes at the beginning - and then becomes old. Even in the Lord, we often let things go on the natural course, it gets old, and we lose our joy. But the joy of the Lord never gets old. You may have let your walk get old. But, like the celebration that ran out of wine, the Lord is able to turn water into wine. The joys of this world run out but the Lord's joy is always new. Stop seeking the joy of the world. Give your heart to His joy, the abundance of which will never run dry. Come back to Him and He will fill you up.rn
