The Lord Shall Be King

Zechariah14:9 contains the most striking of Hebrew words: V'haya YHVH l'Melekh kohl ha aretz. "And the LORD shall be King over all the earth." That sounds strange. How is the LORD not yet King over all the earth? In one sense, that as much as the world is fallen, broken, and turned away from Him, He is not yet represented as King of all the earth. Therefore, whenever you find a situation over which He does not reign, it is your privilege to make Him King. When you bring God's light and peace where it otherwise would not be, you're making Him King. When you don't feel like doing His will, but you do His will anyway, you're making the Lord King. You have a very prophetic mission ahead of you, and a very royal and high honor. Is there some area in your life where God is not King? Fulfill your prophetic destiny, help bring in the kingdom, get out your royal robes, and make the LORD King over that as well. For as it is written, 'The LORD shall be King over all the earth.'rn
