As a new believer, I was told by some, that I had to worship in a certain way, or get into a certain doctrine, or use certain expressions. Life is filled with some people who will tell you the way you should be, based on their own personal inclinations. But in the Kingdom of God, you don't have to be like anyone else. If God wanted you to be like someone else, He would have made you them and not you. There is only One whom you are to be conformed to, and that is Messiah; His love, peace, joy, purity, and righteousness, but beyond that, God made you to become who you are in Messiah. Peter wasn't Moses. Moses wasn't Isaiah, and Isaiah wasn't David. So don't waste your time trying to be someone else. You are to be transforming but only into one person - yourself in Messiah. If God did not want you to be you, He would have made you someone else. He died for you so you could become the "you" He made and died for.rn
