What I Did For $200

When I was 11, I wanted a minibike. I worked the whole summer painting houses, mowing lawns, and delivering newspapers. I sacrificed my summer and ended up with about $200. When I went to buy the minibike, my parents said, "I don't think so." But even though they said no, they were impressed I had done so much to earn the money to buy it. You see, the more you value an object, the more you sacrifice for it. Likewise, how much God values you is revealed by the price He was willing to pay. He gave His life. How much do you value Him, not just in words, but in your actions? It's one thing to say you love Him, it's another thing to pay the price. It's what you're willing to sacrifice that shows your heart's desire for Him - your will, your plans, and your life for His. He loved you not just in words, but in sacrifice. Love Him the same way. Let your life be a living sacrifice. Give your all, because all is what He gave for you, and all is how much He loved you.
