The Brancher

The prophetic title for Messiah in Jeremiah 33:15, is the Hebrew word Tzemach, translated as the Branch. But Tzemach can also mean 'He who sprouts up' or 'He who grows.' What does it mean if Messiah is 'He who grows' and He comes into your life? It means He has to be growing in your life: His love, holiness, and presence all must grow in your life. It means you can't stay the same. It never works if you stop growing, because the Tzemach, in you, must grow. If you aren't growing, you're withering. So let Messiah the Tzemach grow; let His presence, His love, His faith, and His hope in you grow. Let His Spirit in you grow. Always be growing. Open your heart to have a tzemach heart - the heart opened to growth. Open your life to live a tzemach life - a life that is opened to growth. Let Messiah grow in you and become bigger in your heart than He was a year, a month, or a week ago. Let Him be magnified in you because He's the Tzemach, and the Tzemach has to grow.

Today's Mission

Today, make a list of any areas of your life that feel stagnant. Ask and seek for Messiah to grow forth and blossom in every one of these.
