When Messiah died on the cross, it was Friday night, the beginning of the Sabbath. Messiah was entering the Sabbath so that you too could enter and have peace with God. So how did He do it? He said, "Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani," "My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?"(Mt 27:45-46) Messiah certainly had problems on the cross. He certainly felt distant and separated... and yet even still, He entered the Sabbath. If you want to enter God's Sabbath, to have peace with God, then no matter what you're dealing with, no matter what the problem or what you're feeling - bring it to God. If anyone was separated from God, it was Messiah on the cross, and yet He brought even that, His separation from God, to God, and He entered the Sabbath. Do likewise. Stop keeping what's in your heart from His heart. Learn of the "Eli, Eli" entrance to His peace. Bring it all to Him. As it is written: "Pour out your heart like waters in the presence of the Lord." Bring it all to Him and you'll have peace - and His Sabbath.
