The Korban Anee

We know that Messiah's family wasn't rich because when they offered the sacrifice for His birth, they offered the "korban anee," "the sacrifice of the poor," the little offering. Messiah praised the widow who gave generously out of her poverty. It was the "korban anee," the same offering linked to His birth. God doesn't look so much at the amount of your physical offering, but the offering of your heart. The widow was giving a great treasure because that mite represented her heart. A billionaire giving a million dollars isn't as great an offering as a poor person who gives a hundred dollars. The smaller amount is greater because it's more essential to them. God doesn't judge riches by how much you have, but how much you give. It doesn't matter who you are or what you have, you can still give a hundred percent, or your all. You're generous when you give out of your need. That's the "korban anee," so give generously from your heart, and God will bless you many times over. Whether you have much or little, God is still looking for the "korban anee."
