THE OMINOUS RAID OF MARK HOUCK

Shalom, to you my Friend and Co-Minister in the Great Commission...

At 7a.m., September 23, 2022, a multitude of FBI agents and law enforcement officers, by eyewitness accounts, numbered over 25, with guns, helmets, and shields, converged on a Pennsylvanian home in Bucks County. What was the reason? They began pounding on the front door with guns pointed inside.

What was the reason for such measures? The discovery of a violent terrorist cell? No. They had come to arrest Mark Houck. Mark Houck, a pro-life activist and author. What was his crime? He had protested outside an abortion clinic. When one of the abortion activist volunteers came up to him, asking him to leave, the activist began hurling obscenities in front of Houck's young son. Houck told him to back away. When the man continued, Houck pushed him back. The man fell and got a scrape.

The man then pressed charges. But the charges were dismissed. The man then took legal action - but continually failed to show up for his own case. The case was then thrown out. And yet more than a year later, the federal government decided to send two dozen FBI and law enforcement officers, armed and dangerous, to forcibly arrest Mark Houck in front of his family. The officers terrorized Houck's wife and his seven children - over the claim of a man who incurred a scrape and who didn't even bother showing up to his own case.

On top of all this, Houck's attorney, after receiving a notice that Houck was being investigated, informed the government that even though the government had no case, Houck was willing to voluntarily surrender himself to avoid there being any scene at his house that would disturb his family. Yet the government apparently didn't want that. They wanted to raid his house.

The raid on the Houck home and the other actions against pro-life protestors was part of the deliberate targeting of those standing for Christian values and morality with regard to the killing of the unborn. It is an example of the weaponizing of the United States Department of Justice and FBI against those standing for Christian values - and life, itself.

I will be writing more on this in the next issue of Sapphires - revealing the cause behind it and its far-reaching implications. But, here it is enough to say that it is an ominous development, an example of how the government, even the government of the United States can be used against God and to persecute Christians.

All the more, we must be ready for the days ahead - and we must be all the more strongly standing for God without compromise, without fear, and without hesitation. Make that your aim this month and year.
