YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND 2022

Shalom, to you my Friend and Co-Minister in the Great Commission...

As we begin the year 2022, let us take stock of what we've all witnessed and been through, where we are, and where we're going.

This last period of time has, in many ways, been unparalleled. We've lived under the shadow of a plague, a paralyzing lockdown, and what resembled a science fiction movie, with multitudes of faces hidden behind surgical masks. Next came the riots, the violence, and destruction, the fruits of a divided nation. Then came a new government embarking on the most radical agenda in American history.

But the greatest change was that which took place in the cultural, moral, and spiritual realm. Which was already well underway before Covid-19 disrupted the nation's life. But the disruption accelerated it. It was only in the last few years and particularly in the midst of the Covid pandemic, that political correctness turned into a toxic cancel culture and we witnessed an all-out attack on free speech, particularly conservative speech and Christian speech. The new morality had become so radical that it was even attacking other radicals for not being radical enough. Now, those who simply maintained that male and female existence were to be persecuted.

At the same time, the forces of the new woke morality launched an outright, all-out indoctrination of the nation's children - through its school system and mainstream culture. New polls have revealed how effective it has all been with the new generation being the most anti-Christian generation in the history of such polls.

The onslaught has impacted God's people. Many are afraid to even voice the truth of God, lest they suffer the consequences. At the same time, the plague has caused many to fall away from fellowship and the Lord and many congregations now operate at less than half its former numbers.

As we begin 2022, we cannot expect that these things will cease or stop their acceleration. But is that reason to fear? No. It is exactly what the Bible said would take place in the end of days. The growing darkness argues all the more for the increase of light. We must all the more pray for revival in 2022. Without it, America is lost; and we must not be timid but bolder. These are the days that matter most. God will show Himself mighty to the one who stands all out for Him. Whatever 2022 brings, we know one thing - Yeshua, Jesus, will be the same yesterday, today, and forever. And that is more than enough reason to live this year in full confidence, full power, and full anointing to make a difference in a world that needs the difference you have. Make that your aim this month and this year - And may God greatly bless you as you do!
