The Lips of a Cohayn

I was sitting in a diner when I was asked to go into full-time ministry. I went into my car and turned on the radio. The man speaking was quoting from Malachi. He said this: "The lips of a priest are to preserve knowledge and men are to seek the law from His mouth as a messenger of the Lord of Hosts." But he didn't say the word "priest." Instead, he used the original Hebrew word "Cohayn" Cohayn is the root word for my last name "Cahn." It's linked to my heritage in the house of Aaron. It was the first confirmation of my calling - and more than that, a confirmation that God has a calling on each of our lives, a calling that fulfills everything we are - and that everything in our life is to be redeemed or used for His glory. So too, if you give everything in your life to God, God will use it for His glory. Give everything in your life to Him - Give Him your unconditional "yes" and He will reveal and fulfill the mystery of your life.
