The Experiment Of Your Faith

The Bible speaks of the testing of our faith. You probably think about it in negative terms... what God is going to lay on you next. The Greek word for testing or a trial means 'EXPERIMENT.' Our English word 'Experiment' comes from the Latin - 'Ex-Peritus' which means 'To Try Out.' It means you have to TRY OUT your faith. You have to use it, prove it - experiment with it. God gave us wings, but most believers keep their wings all locked up. They'll say they believe that the wings work, but deep down, they're not really sure. The Bible says that faith must be tested... must be tried out. Your faith is never based on experience, but it must produce experience. You have to experience the real power of God. However, if you want to experience it, you have to experiment with it. The Lord says, 'Test me and see if I will not open the windows of heaven.' Therefore put on your lab coat and start experimenting into the power of God in your life. Take out your wings, try them out, and start flying.
