The Passover Lamb New Year’s Connection

Here in the West, we begin the New Year now in January. But in the Bible it wasn't that way. The Biblical New Year wasn't January nor was it in September. It was in the spring. It came with the month called - Nisan. Nisan means - the Beginning. Nisan was the month of Passover, the redemption from Egypt from slavery and bondage, and all by the blood of the Lamb. Nisan - the New Year month - called the Beginning - is also the month of Messiah's redemption, when the Lamb of God died to make all things new - that is the Nisan - the Beginning. So the power of New Year and new beginnings do not come from a calendar. It comes from the Lamb. Do you want the power of newness to fill your life? Then come back to the Lamb. Come back to your first Love as you did when you first came to the Lord. For there is your Passover. For renewal comes in Nisan .... with the new beginning of God. And new days, new walks, new lives, new hearts, and even new years... only come by the power of the Lamb.
