My Son, The Messiah

Monday, March 21, 2022

Will DieI grew up with the knowledge that Jewish people do not believe in a Son of God, or in a Messiah who dies for our sins. Jewish people say, these two things are blasphemy. An ancient text, not written by Christians or believing Jews, found in the ancient Jewish book of Ezra 7:27-30, says, "My Son the Messiah shall die." Messiah is the Son of God here. As it turns out, it is Jewish to believe in the Son of God, the Messiah, and that He will die. The first time the word love is used in the Bible is in Genesis 22, "Take Isaac your son, whom you love" God tells Abraham. The first picture of love is a father offering up his son. What is love? It's God the Father offering up His most precious Son for you. God so loved you, He gave everything. So you need to do likewise. Love Him with a love that is so precious. Lift up your Isaac, your most precious thing into His hands; and like Abraham, you will be blessed. He gave all for you; you do the same for Him!

Today's Mission

God loved you and gave up the most precious thing, His Son. Give Him an offering, give Him what is precious, valuable, and loved.
